Banana Shallot Bulbs
- Jermor Shallots are a very flavoursome half long variety, with a lovely sweet taste popular for use in sauces, dressings and salads. This tasty variety is loved by TV chefs. These copper skinned vegetable bulbs have a crisp, pink tinged flesh and are commonly known as Banana Shallots due to their elongated shape.
- These Autumn planting shallot sets will be ready to harvest in June and July, storing well once picked. Shallots have a sweeter and milder taste than onions, having twice the amount of vitamin C. They are also rich in vitamins A, B and E.
- These sets will be ready for planting when you receive them, however if you are not garden ready yet, ensure you open the paper bag, store in a cool dark spot and keep away from any pests, it is essential they have airflow and avoid any moisture. As each shallot has a different weight, it may not be exact.
