    This plant has air purifying properties and can thrive in lower light conditions but does prefer indirect sunlight. Bright direct sunlight can cause the stunning colours on the leaves to fade and with prolonged exposure this can cause the leaves to burn or scorch.

  • Watering

    Calatheas must be kept in damp soil at all times. It's important not to let them sit in water or in very wet soil as this can lead to root rot.

  • Best Growing Conditions

    They do prefer higher humidity and temperatures between 18-23°C. To boost the humidity levels, spraying the leaves frequently or placing it near a shower occasionally will help.
