  • This variety is popular for growing in UK gardens and allotments, it grows well in partially heavy soil and is ready for Autumn planting now. Senshyu onions are versatile and can be used for a variety of different things.
  • Harvest once the sets are at their desired size or when the leaves begin to turn brown in late Autumn, into the Winter. After harvesting, lay the onions out to dry in a greenhouse or on a wire rack in full sun.
