We only take orders via our website and all other marketplace websites. We don’t offer an over the phone service at present, however this is something we are looking into.

Because we use fast dispatch and fast delivery your plants should be looking perky when you receive them. During winter months please always remember that certain plants are deciduous and dormant. They may not look at there very best during these months but when Spring comes round they will flourish again for the new year.

Never forget if you are not happy with the plants you receive let us know and we will be more than happy to resolve.

Our Next Working Day Delivery means fast delivery and a quality product at a great price. Order before 12pm Monday to Friday, and you will receive the plant the next working day. Note that Working Day means Monday – Friday excluding weekends & Bank Holidays both regional and national, this because of couriers working.

If you are ordering before 1pm Monday – Friday from our Next  Working Day Delivery Service, these plants will arrive the next working day.

Standard Delivery of our plants will arrive within 2-5 days if ordered before 1.00pm.

We are 100% committed to sorting any issues you may have with our deliveries. We can be contacted on by email at info@carbethplants.co.uk or if you made the purchase via any of the selling channels – Amazon, eBay, B&Q and Etsy, it is best to contact us through that.

We offer a no quibble money back guarantee. We will usually ask for a picture of the plant and then we will offer a refund. You being happy with your plant is our mission so if you have any problems please let us know.

If you need to cancel your order for any reason there are varying time limits depending on what shipping option you’ve chosen:

• Next Working Day Delivery – 30 minutes after placing your order
• Standard Delivery – 60 minutes after placing your order

This is due to the fast dispatch we strive to deliver on our orders.

The Consumer Rights Directive (CRD) for E.U. Countries: under the CRD, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of certain items at any time up to 14 calendar days after the day on which you receive the goods your ordered. You are obliged to return the item to our UK nursery within 14 days of cancellation, at your cost. We will refund you within 14 days of receipt of the items. Any paid delivery charge will be included in your refund once we have received all (not part) of your order. Please note that the delivery charge refund will be to the value of standard delivery.

If  you wish to choose environmentally friendly packaging this is all packaging that can either be recycled or is compostable. We will pay 70% of the additional cost on this addon. We are striving to within one year transition to 100% environmentally friendly packaging across all products.

We regret that we are no longer able to process any orders for delivery outside the UK.

These are supplied in a growers pot is around 7L large, so a 8L pot at least will be required.

If they are planted out and left alone, in theory they can grow to full sized fir or spruce trees at 50-70 feet eventually. You can take measures to keep them a manageable size, like pruning them back, which also keeps them a nice shape.

Trees can last 3-4 Christmases in ideal conditions, and are not guaranteed to keep forever, as keeping them inside where they do not thrive over and over again can weaken the tree. If the tree is visibly suffering, we advise that you plant your potted tree outdoors and enjoy it for years to come as an outdoor evergreen, as continuing to use it as an indoor tree may mean it will die.

Once trees reach this size, the roots needed to support them in the long term are too big to feasibly keep potted for a long time, and should be planted into the ground.

Our Christmas trees are available on pre-order, with delivery from the 21st of November at the earliest. Please refer to your order confirmation or information to see the selected delivery week on your order. Your order will be dispatched to arrive within your selected delivery window.

As this is a live tree, it is expected to drop some needles regardless and this cannot be avoided. If this is excessive, you may need to take a look at the trees watering and position in the room, to ensure it is as healthy as possible.

On average,

A 2ft tall tree will be around 2-3ft wide, 3ft to 4ft tall trees 3-4ft wide, and trees above 6ff tall will be around 4-5ft wide. 

If you purchase any other items at the same time you purchase your Christmas tree, these will be shipped separately. Any other items will be shipped ASAP, and your Christmas tree will be dispatched during your chosen delivery week. If you select our plastic free option along with your order of a Christmas tree and another item, your separate item will be sent with our plastic free packaging, but your tree will not as due to carrier restrictions, we unfortunately cannot offer a plastic free option for our Christmas trees.
