Ferns

Ferns are beautiful foliage plants that will add texture and movement to shadier areas of the garden. You can choose something that will add stature and archirecture, such as a tree fern or royal fern, or go for for the lower-growing, but no less graceful shuttlecock or lady fern. Ferns love a shady area so it’s a plant that will do well where perhaps nothing else does.
