With a combination of tubers and rhizomatous roots, American water plantain is excellent at filtering water and has been utilized throughout the U.K to help clean up and restore wetlands and water retention ponds.
  • AMAZING FLOWERS - Big spear shaped foliage with tall stems topped with clusters of white/pale lilac flowers.
  • POND PLANTS - Marginal pond plants grow in rivers, streams and ponds in the wild.
  • They are very versatile growing in damp soil to shallow water. They are usually planted on the shelves of ornamental ponds and offer height, colour and structure to the pond.
