• Alstroemeria are compact herbaceous perennials, known as Peruvian Lily and Lily of the Incas as they originate from South America.
• They flower from mid Summer to mid Autumn and are grown in clusters on top of stout leafy stems. They are usually attractively patterned or marked on the inside, giving them an exotic and lily like appearance.
•  Alstroemeria attract bees and other pollinating insects and growth dies back to ground level each Winter. They can also be used as a cut flower and can last for weeks at a time in arrangements or in a vase.
