  • Fargesia murielae, the umbrella bamboo, is a species of flowering plant in the family Poaceae. It is a large, clump-forming evergreen bamboo, closely resembling Fargesia nitida in the same genus, but with yellow canes.
  • An exotic evergreen hedging plant, Fargesia Bamboo forms an elegant screen of healthy green stems with a weeping habit, adding texture to a classic British garden.
  • Sunny or partial shade, very wet to normal soil, sheltered and inland.
  • PLEASE NOTE - The plant will not replicate the images used - These are examples of how to plant will look in years to come.
