Courgette plants need 6-8 hours of direct sunlight every day. If possible, plant in a sheltered location, protected against chilling winds as the plant will prefer consistently warm temperatures to produce fruit.

Best Growing Conditions
A good-mix to use is three parts quality compost to one part topsoil. As soon as the plant begins to produce flowers then start feeding them every week with a high potash feed such as organic liquid tomato feed. Best form of protection is to keep the area around the plant clean, free of debris and the leave and surface dry, especially at night by watering the plants at the soil in the morning.
