Autumn/Winter planting shallots

  • Grow your own shallot onions in the garden or outdoors
  • A kilo bag contains approximately 10-14 large bulbs depending on size and weight
  • They give a heavy crop of high quality, healthy bulbs whether planted in spring or autumn. The plants are not prone to bolting and the harvested bulbs store very well. Flavour and texture are both excellent
  • This type are sweeter and milder than regular onions, as they have double the amount of vitamin C and are also rich in vitamins A, B and E
  • Perfect for cooking with or eating raw when harvested.
