- Our wildflower seed mix will produce lovely wildflower meadows, borders or beds to help attract bees & butterflies to your garden.
- This mix contains twenty two different UK native wildflower species - Cornflower, Poppy, Red Clover, Black Medick, Yellow Blossom Clover, Corncockle, Chicory, Burnet, Birdsfoot Trefoil, Dropwort, Common Mallow, Borage, Alsike Clover, Gold of Pleasure, Berseem Clover, Ribwort Plantain, Vetch, Phacelia, Mustard, Yarrow, Parsley and Sainfoin.
- The sowing rate for our wildflower mix is 2 to 5 grams per square metre. A good time for sowing mixtures is generally considered to be late summer or early autumn when seeds are shed naturally, the soil is warmer and moisture is usually present in sufficient quantity to aid good germination. Annual flower mixtures sown in early autumn should flower from May/June the following year.
