- This plant is nectar/pollen rich flowers and is popular for attracting bees, birds and other pollinating insects to your garden. The dense habit provides shelter and habitat for birds.

Best Growing Conditions
This frost hardy plant (down to -20C) is easy to grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soils in full sun or part shade, and also thrives on extremely chalky sites. Propagate by softwood cuttings in early summer or hardwood cuttings in winter. Will tolerate hard pruning to restrict the size; can be maintained as small shrub if desired.
