Flowering Winter Plants
- Cyclamen are delightful tuberous perennials with pretty heart shaped dark green leaves and fragrant white, pale pink, cerise and red upturned flower heads that provide colour in UK gardens when little else is flowering, particularly in late Winter or early Spring.
- These hardy potted plants prefer to grow in full sun to partial shade in well draining soil. The soil should remain moist but not overwatered as this can lead to the plants rotting. The soil should be watered when dry to the touch.
