Easy Planting - Superior Growth

  • 'Bright Lights' produces a rainbow of coloured stems that are crowned with large leaves of green or bronze. The flavour is deliciously mild and packed with nutritional content.

  • Eventual Height and Spread

    Height of 50cm and a Spread of 40cm

  • Light Required

    Grow in a sheltered spot in moist well draining soil, rich in organic matter and plant during a cool part of the day.

  • Watering

    Water after planting, with plant food to prevent transportation shock. It's also best to water with plant food added during it's growing season to allow for a good crop.

  • Best Growing Conditions

    Planting of this chard should occur from mid March onwards, preferably with a cloche or other frost protection for cropping in September onwards. Alternatively plant around July to grow over Winter for cropping in early Spring.
