Japanese Maple - 25-35 cm in Height
- Japanese Maple 'Chiyo-hime' is a popular choice for Bonsai enthusiasts, and Japanese themed gardens.
- The leaves are quite small, beautifully coloured in early spring. The leaf edges are tinged with orange-red and turn rich green in the summer. Autumn colour is yellow-orange. A great variety to be grown in a pot.
- Like all Maples, this one is very easy to maintain. It doesn't require any pruning routine. Remove any dead or damaged branches. The best time to prune is the late autumn or winter when the plant is fully dormant.
- The plant produces a compact branching bush with brilliant fresh green lobed leaves coloured yellow and red at the growing tips. The autumn colour is a golden yellow.
