Bred in Geneva New York, Honeoye Strawberry Plant is one of the leading commercial early varieties. It produces bright red, very firm fruits of fantastic quality and flavour. This is a heavy cropping mid-season variety with excellent disease resistance. The bright red fruits are large and round and have a very good old fashioned strawberry flavour which makes them popular for jam making.
- Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun.
- Produces a large crop over a 3-4 week period, typically from mid-June to early July
- A top producer in the field for over 30 years.
- Recommended for areas with a colder climate as it tends to produce quite well.
