The Amydrium Medium Silver is a truly rare and unusual real evergreen houseplant with long vining runners that produces heart shaped statement leaves of pale almost neon green with shiny silvery veining. This beautiful plant commonly known as Spiderman Monstera is not actually a Monstera but develops slits similar to that of Monstera Deliciosa as it matures. NOTE: the decorative pot is not included
This hard to come by, eye catching unique plant, native to South America is a real conversation starter and is a must have addition to any house plant enthusiast’s collection. With its easy to care for nature it is ideal for beginners too. Its rarity and striking appearance make it a standout addition to any home or office.
The Spiderman Monstera thrives in bright but indirect light. Placing it near a window that receives filtered sunlight, as too much direct sunlight can cause the leaves to scorch. Insufficient light can result in slower growth and reduced variegation to the leaves. Rotating the plant occasionally will help promote even growth.
The Amydrium Medium Silver prefers consistently moist soil, but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil feels slightly dry to the touch. Proper drainage is essential to prevent overwatering. Avoid overwatering, as it can lead to root rot.
This plant likes to be kept in a warm humid environment throughout the year that ranges between 18 and 29°C. Growing in a bathroom or kitchen is ideal.
