- In warmer areas of the country it can be grown outdoors in pots on a patio.
- During the Summer this plant, produces cup shaped flowers which then give way to dry banana like fruit.
- The fruit produce from this plant is not edible.

Regular watering
This plant is best grown in well drained soil and positioned in a South or West facing, sheltered area.
