STROMBOLI ROSE - Rose Bush Stromboli is an upright, bushy, compact shrub rose bush that produces large clusters of fragrant, double, bright red flowers in summer and autumn. This vivid red flowering outdoor rose plant in a 3L pot is weather and wind resistant, ideal for growing in UK gardens. It is ready for planting outdoors now.
LOW MAINTENANCE - This deciduous shrub rose loved by pollinating insects in particular bees and butterflies, is very low maintenance and ideal for growing in a variety of locations including city, courtyard and cottage style gardens in patio pots, containers, rockery alpine beds or borders.
GROWING CONDITIONS - Rose bush Stromboli can grow to a height of 50cm-120cm and a spread of 100cm maximum in full to partial sun in rich, fertile, moist, well draining soil. It copes in a sheltered or exposed sunny planting location in a variety of soil conditions.
ONGOING CARE - To prune, start by removing all dead, diseased, damaged, weak and spindly shoots, reduce strong shoots by about one-third and if they become too large and congested they can be renovated by pruning to near ground level, 10cm from the base in late winter
