  • The Sansevieria trifasciata Furtua Superb is a real live slow growing indoor plant commonly known as a Mother in Laws Tongue, Viper’s Bowstring or Snake Plant. This easy to care for plant’s curvaceous leaves makes it very eye catching. NOTE: any decorative pots pictured are not included, it will arrive in a 12cm plastic growing pot.
  • This incredibly tough houseplant is almost unkillable making it ideal for houseplant beginners or for any plant lovers as a gift. With its snake-like green pattern and lime green edges this plant looks great in a bedroom, living room or as a desk plant adding structure and interest to any space.
  • This Snake Plant does best in moderate to bright, indirect light, but can also adapt to low light conditions if preferred. It is happiest in places with a temperature between 15°C and 23°C but can cope with as low as 10°C for short periods of time. When watering, make sure the top two inches of soil is dry to the touch. Water thoroughly and allow it to drain freely up to twice a month, cutting down to once a month in Winter. Don't allow the plant to sit in water as this will cause root rot.
  • If wishing to repot this indoor Snake plant, Spring is the best time to do this. When repotting, fill a pot with a peat free, free draining indoor cactus/succulent compost blend. It is best to avoid repotting during the Autumn or Winter, as Sansevieria do not like to have their roots disturbed at this time of year.
