Sedum is a large genus of flowering outdoor Succulents commonly known as Stonecrop, which fall into two categories: low growing sedum and upright sedum. They come in a wide variety of heights, colours and forms. They have thick fleshy leaves and typically produce tiny star-shaped flowers that often bloom late in their growing season.
Sedums are very low maintenance evergreen plants and are perfect in patio pots, borders or in rock gardens planted on their own or in groups with other plants such as Irises, Kniphofia and Ornamental Grasses. They flower during the Summer and Autumn months and attract bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects to your garden.
