Unique frosted rosette form - A striking hardy succulent forming neat rosettes covered in fine silvery white hairs, giving it a frosted arctic look. The foliage shifts from pale green to silvery white depending on light and temperature, providing stunning texture and contrast in rock gardens, troughs, or containers.
- Low maintenance and drought tolerant - Exceptionally resilient, thriving in poor, free-draining soil and requiring little water once established. Perfect for sunny spots, gravel gardens, alpine beds, or green roofs, where it spreads slowly by offsets to create an attractive carpet of rosettes.
- Seasonal interest - Evergreen through winter, maintaining form and colour all year. In summer, mature rosettes produce tall stems with star shaped pink blooms, adding bursts of colour and attracting pollinators before naturally dying back to allow new rosettes to take their place.
Full sun to partial shade.
Moderate watering.
Thrives in full sun and very well-drained soil, ideally sandy or gritty compost. It performs best in rockeries, alpine troughs, or containers with good air circulation.
