  • The Silver Birch is a elegant, narrowly conical deciduous tree, that can grow to heights of 25 metres.

  • It produces lovely white peeling bark which turns a darker colour at the base and mid-green diamond shaped leaves that turn yellow in the Autumn.

  • As the tree grows and spreads it's roots wide, it brings otherwise inaccessible nutrients into the tree, which are then transferred into the soil by falling leaves - helping improve the soil for all other plants in the garden.
