- The Skimmia japonica ‘Rubella’ is a compact male skimmia, with reddish, deep green elliptic evergreen leaves.
- It produces dark red flower buds in the Autumn and throughout the Winter. In the early Spring the buds open with lovely fragrant star shaped white flowers.
- Skimmia are ideal for growing in Autumn or Winter container displays or using to fill gaps in borders.
