Prayer Plant
The Calathea rufibarba Elegergras, features slender, pointed leaves with an undulating edge in deep green with a reddish-purple underside. The underside of leaves have a fluffy velvet-like texture, hence why it is commonly known as the Velvet Calathea or Fuzzy Feathers plant.
- Like most of the Calathea species, this plant goes to sleep every night by rolling its leaves into an upright position.
