Grow in a sheltered spot in moist well draining soil, rich in organic matter and plant during a cool part of the day.

Watering

Water after planting, with plant food to prevent transportation shock. It's also best to water with plant food added during it's growing season to allow for a good crop.

Planting of this chard should occur from mid March onwards, preferably with a cloche or other frost protection for cropping in September onwards. Alternatively plant around July to grow over Winter for cropping in early Spring.
