- Corylus avellana ‘Scooter’ is a beautiful, compact corkscrew hazel that will grow to approximately 150 cm in height. It provides all year round appeal to any garden. During early Spring it carries yellow catkins and has stunning bright green leaves which carry all through Spring and into Summer. These leaves then turn a pale yellow in the Autumn. Even in the Winter this plant draws attention, thanks to its unusual twisted stems.
- Corylus ‘Scooter’ is excellent for Japanese inspired gardens and rock and gravel gardens. It is also great for beds and borders or for creating informal, low hedges and screens.
