  • Allium Red Mohican or 'ornamental onion' is a tall, herbaceous perennial with a striking and unusual look. Its rich burgundy-red, oval flower heads are topped with distinctive white tufts, resembling a mohawk, making them a true statement plant. Blooming from late Spring to early Summer, each dense head is made up of starry florets that attract pollinators. These eye-catching flowers grow up to 1m tall and offer unique colour and shape to your garden year after year.

Space bulbs approximately 10cm apart and plant at a depth three to four times the size of the bulb. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch if needed to improve drainage. Cut back flowering stems once the blooms fade. These hardy bulbs require little care and return reliably each year.
