  • Asparagus ‘Erasmus’ stands out as the first commercially available purple-shooting male hybrid, producing attractive burgundy-coloured spears that turn green when cooked. Its mild, nutty flavour makes it especially enjoyable raw or lightly steamed. The crowns are strong and begin producing well after their establishment year.

  • This variety offers good vigour and excellent uniformity, making it ideal for home growers who want something a little different.
