  • Hosta ‘Praying Hands’ is one of those plants that instantly stands out in the garden. Unlike typical hostas, its narrow green leaves grow upright and slightly folded, giving it a really unusual, sculptural look that adds interest even in the shadiest corners. It works beautifully in borders, woodland-style planting, or pots where you want something a little different from the usual leafy filler plants.

  • As it grows, it forms a neat clump with plenty of texture and structure, making shaded areas feel more full and considered rather than flat or empty. In summer, it also produces soft lavender flowers that rise above the foliage, adding an extra bit of colour and contrast. It’s a hardy, reliable plant that comes back year after year and gradually becomes more impressive over time.

  • It’s very easy to care for too. Just plant it in partial or full shade, keep the soil reasonably moist, and let it settle in. Once established, it needs very little attention, making it a great option if you want something low maintenance but still a bit special. Each plant is supplied in a 2L pot and arrives healthy and ready to plant straight into the garden.
