Lucky bamboo (Dracaena sanderiana) is not a true bamboo but a member of the Dracaena family. Originating from Southeast Asia, it has been used in Feng Shui for over 5,000 years and is traditionally associated with good fortune, harmony, and happiness. This makes it a meaningful and thoughtful gift for new homes, workplaces, celebrations, or personal wellbeing.

Lucky Bamboo is extremely low maintenance, thriving in bright, indirect light and growing happily in either water or soil. The stems establish quickly, keeping their fresh colour and strong form with very little care. Each set is selected for healthy growth, straight shaping and a clean, polished appearance, ready to be placed into your chosen container.

Our Lucky Bamboo Straight Stems are available in sets of 3 or 4 stems, each standing at approximately 40cm in height. This size is ideal for creating balanced arrangements, mixing with decorative stones, or placing directly into a stylish vase for an instant display.

Light Required

Lucky bamboo requires moderate or indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight will scorch the leaves, so avoid placing your stems in front of a bright window.

Watering

Add enough room temperature, chlorine-free water to cover the roots and add a liquid fertiliser to the water once a month to every other month.

Best Growing Conditions

Lucky bamboo stems are easy to care for and can be displayed in a vase or arrangement with water but they can also be grown in soil. If growing in soil, its important to make sure it’s kept slightly damp. Don’t let the soil get too dry and don’t overwater since that can lead to root rot.

Pick your delivery week – Choose the week you’d like to receive your tree.

Scheduled dispatch – Cut and potted Christmas trees will be dispatched during your selected delivery week.

Express Delivery – If available and chosen, your tree will be dispatched the next working day.

Pre-orders – Items sold on pre-order without a delivery week will be dispatched as soon as stock arrives, estimated from early November onwards.

In-stock items – Products listed as in stock (with no scheduled delivery) will be dispatched as soon as possible.

Mixed orders – If you order other products along with a tree that has a delivery week, everything will be dispatched together so you receive all your Christmas items at the same time.
