  • Medana is a dependable and fruitful tayberry, yielding long, deep red berries. These berries boast a pleasing balance of sweetness and tartness. They're perfect for eating fresh, cooking, or freezing, and the harvest occurs from early to mid-summer, after the spring blossoms.

  • This variety grows into a robust, trailing plant that thrives when supported, making it a great choice for borders, fruit gardens, and allotments. Supplied in a 9cm pot, Medana establishes readily and can eventually reach heights of 2-3 metres, producing generous crops once established.

    • Light Required Full sun to partial shade

    Watering Water regularly during establishment and fruiting; keep soil evenly moist.

    Best Growing Conditions Grow Medana in sun or partial shade in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. Water well during dry spells, particularly in the first year and during fruiting. Prune out old fruiting canes after harvest and tie in new growth to supports for the following season.
