• The Pink Capitatum pelargonium has lovely rose scented grey, green leaves and is used as an insect repellent against flying pests. During the Summer and Autumn, it produces large pretty pink flowers, making it an attractive houseplant for a kitchen or conservatory window ledge.


• Pink Capitatum geraniums grow best in moderately fertile, moist but well-draining soil in full sunlight. To encourage a second flush of flowers, remove any spent heads as they fade. Scented geraniums like to be kept well fed, using a dilute solution of a high-potash liquid fertiliser such as tomato feed at regular intervals.
