The Philodendron scandens 'Brasil' is commonly known as the Sweetheart plant due to it's stunning golden-yellow variegated heart shaped leaves.This variety is a vining Philodendron that is vigorously growing and can reach lengths of 4 metres.

Light Required

This plant is best grown in bright indirect sunlight but can tolerate some spells of bright light to partial shade. It's important to avoid direct sunlight as this can scorch the plants leaves.

Watering

The Philodendron 'Brasil' likes to be kept moist at all times. It's best to let the soil dry out before the next watering. This plant can cope with some degree of drought, rather than have it's roots soaking wet.

Best Growing Conditions

It likes to be grown in normal household temperatures of 16 to 24 degrees Celsius.
