  • Phlox Emerald Cushion is a lovely low-growing perennial that produces a mass of small, star-shaped white flowers in spring. When in bloom, it forms a bright carpet of colour that can really lift rockeries, borders and the edges of garden paths.

  • This variety grows as a neat, spreading cushion of evergreen foliage that stays attractive throughout the year. It works particularly well as ground cover, helping fill gaps in sunny borders while also helping to suppress weeds as it spreads.

  • It’s a great choice for rock gardens, raised beds or planting along the tops of walls where the flowers can gently spill over the edges. Supplied as a pack of six healthy young plants, they’re perfect for creating a quick, colourful display once planted.

    • Light Required Full sun to partial shade

    Watering Water during establishment; once established, moderately drought tolerant. Avoid waterlogged soil.

    Best Growing Conditions Plant in a sunny position with well-drained soil. Phlox thrives in rockeries, borders or gravel gardens where the soil doesn’t stay too wet. Water while the plants are establishing, but once settled they require very little maintenance.
