Alicante Plant produces heavy crops of medium-sized salad, deep red tomatoes with a rich sweet and juicy flavour. Making it ideal for salads, sandwiches, cooking, or eating fresh from the vine, which is better when home grown taste of pride.
It is easy to grow and well suited to UK climate, and can either be grown in greenhouses, grow bags, containers ensure they are placed in a full sun location.
Light Required Full Sun
Watering Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist, avoiding drying out and waterlogging. Water at the base of the plant, preferably in the morning.
Best Growing Conditions Grow in fertile, moisture-retentive, well-drained soil in a warm, sunny, sheltered position. Support plants with a cane or cord, water regularly, and feed weekly with a high-potash tomato fertiliser once flowering begins.
