  • Horseradish Premium Bare Roots are of the highest quality and will grow robust, hearty plants that come back year after year. The robust, fresh bare roots are ready to be planted right away, which makes sure that they grow quickly and last a long time.

  • Leaves that taste great: Pick delicate leaves that are great for pesto, soups, salads, sauces, and a lot of other fresh foods. Chefs and home gardeners both love its subtle garlic taste.

  • Does well in the shade: great for shady walkways, moist borders, forest gardening, and planting under trees. Wild garlic grows well on its own and makes attractive, growing bunches over time.
  • Low Maintenance and Hardy: This perennial is tough and doesn't need much maintenance. Plant in wet soil and enjoy a reliable spring show.

Watering Keep the soil consistently moist while the crop is establishing and growing, especially during flowering, fruiting or rapid leafy growth. Water deeply at the base rather than little and often, allowing excess water to drain away. Plants in containers, grow bags or greenhouses may need daily checks during warm weather.

Best Growing Conditions Grow in sun or partial shade in fertile loam, enriched with organic matter where appropriate. Choose an open position with good airflow and enough space for the crop to mature without excessive competition. Protect tender crops from late frost and cold winds, and use greenhouse or sheltered growing conditions where the variety requires extra warmth.

    Top tip

Thin seedlings early where needed so roots have enough space to develop cleanly without excessive competition. It works particularly well in a borders setting; give it enough space and light to develop naturally rather than crowding it.
