  • Agapanthus ‘Arctic Star’ is a really lovely plant if you’re after something clean and elegant in the garden. It produces tall stems topped with crisp white flower heads, which stand out nicely above the green foliage and give a fresh, bright look through the summer.

  • It works well in borders, but it’s just as at home in pots or patio containers, where the flowers can really stand out. The blooms also make great cut flowers if you fancy bringing a bit of that look indoors.

  • The plant grows in a neat clump, so it doesn’t spread too much or get out of hand, making it easy to fit into different spaces. Once it’s settled in, it will come back year after year and doesn’t need much looking after.

    Watering Water regularly during establishment and active growth; keep soil moderately moist but well drained.

    Best Growing Conditions Plant in a sunny, sheltered spot using well-drained soil or compost. Water regularly while establishing, then only during dry periods. Agapanthus prefer plenty of light to flower well, so a warm position will give the best results.
