  • Ajuga ‘Burgundy Glow’ is a showstopper, a ground cover plant that really catches the eye. Its leaves are a riot of colour, a mix of green, cream, and deep burgundy that keeps things interesting all year long. Because it spreads out, it's perfect for filling in those awkward spots in your flower beds, along walkways, or even under trees and shrubs where the ground needs a little love.

  • This tough-as-nails Ajuga reptans is a breeze to look after. It loves shady spots, or places that only get a little sun, where other plants might wilt. Once it's settled in, it's surprisingly good at handling dry spells, which makes it a great pick for gardens that don't need a lot of fuss, or areas where water is scarce.

  • Best planted in the autumn, Ajuga ‘Burgundy Glow’ gets a head start, developing robust roots before the winter chill. This gives it a real boost come spring. Beyond its attractive leaves, it also sends up lovely purple flower spikes, which are a magnet for bees and other helpful insects, making it a boon for wildlife. Supplied as a bare root, it's simple to get going and ideal for a vibrant, pollinator-friendly ground cover.

    Keep the soil consistently moist during the first growing season. Once established, water when the top inch of soil is dry. Avoid overwatering.

    Mixed orders – If you order other products along with a tree that has a delivery week, everything will be dispatched together so you receive all your Christmas items at the same time.
