  • The Areca Palm, or Dypsis lutescens, commonly known as the Bamboo Palm, is a lovely evergreen. It instantly adds a tropical vibe to any indoor area. This palm develops a cluster of slender, erect stems, each crowned with graceful, arching fronds. The result is a light, airy look that instantly softens a room.

  • Each pinnate leaf consists of delicate, linear leaflets, and they can grow quite long as the plant ages. Given the right circumstances, Areca Palms can attain impressive heights. This makes them a captivating choice for homes, offices, and commercial spaces, especially when vertical elements are needed.

  • This palm is a favourite for indoor spaces, prized for its ability to clean the air and its easygoing care requirements.     Watering As the Drypsis is a tropical plant they enjoy a lot of water. Allowing the top layer of soil to dry out before rewatering will prevent it becoming water logged and the roots to develop root rot.

    Best Growing Conditions It can tolerate cooler temperatures and dry air conditioned environments. It loves to be situated in bright indirect sunlight and does best in an East or West facing position.
