Our Bathroom Houseplant Collection adds a touch of greenery and relaxation to your bathroom. These three humidity-loving houseplants have delicate foliage, trailing growth and bold variegation, making them perfect for shelves, windowsills, vanity units or hanging displays in a bright bathroom.

The Adiantum raddianum ‘Fragrans’ Maidenhair Fern brings airy, fan-shaped leaves on fine dark stems, while the Chlorophytum comosum Spider Plant adds arching green-and-white striped foliage. Completing the collection, Epipremnum ‘Happy Leaf’ Manjula Pothos offers trailing stems and beautifully marbled leaves in green, cream and white. Each plant is supplied in a 12cm growing pot.

Grouped together, their different shapes create a soft, layered display. Alternatively, place them around the room to add greenery without taking up valuable floor space. This bathroom plant collection also makes a thoughtful housewarming or new-home gift.

Light Required Bright, indirect or filtered light is ideal. The plants tolerate partial shade, but deep shade will reduce growth and may cause the Pothos and Spider Plant to lose variegation.

Watering Do not water all three plants together automatically. Keep the Maidenhair Fern’s compost consistently moist but not saturated. Water the Spider Plant when the surface begins to dry. Water the Pothos after the top 2cm has dried, allowing excess water to drain. Reduce watering during winter.

Best Growing Conditions Best grown at approximately 16–24°C in a naturally humid bathroom with good ventilation and natural daylight. Protect from direct sunlight, cold draughts and heat from radiators or underfloor heating.

Branch Details Maidenhair Fern forms a dense clump of delicate fronds from short rhizomes. Spider Plant produces arching leaves, flowering runners and baby plantlets. Pothos develops trailing or climbing vines with aerial roots.

Top tip

Bathroom humidity is beneficial, but it does not replace watering. Keep the Maidenhair Fern consistently moist while allowing the Pothos compost surface to dry.
