  • Begonia Fimbriata tubers are a stunning choice for gardeners wanting bold, long-lasting colour in pots, borders and shaded corners of the garden. Each tuber produces large, beautifully frilled flowers in rich seasonal shades “” Yellow, Pink or Red “” with finely fringed petals that give the blooms a soft, ruffled appearance. These begonias thrive throughout the summer and will reward you with months of vibrant display from June right into early autumn.

  • Easy to grow and wonderfully versatile, Begonia Fimbriata performs well in full sun, partial shade, or dappled shade, making it perfect for gardens that need dependable colour in trickier locations. Once established, plants form upright, leafy clumps with strong stems that hold their elaborate blooms proudly above the foliage. They are especially suited to pots, window boxes, cottage-style plantings, exotic displays, or low-maintenance gardens where reliable seasonal interest is needed.

  • These tubers are tender perennials, so they will come back year after year if lifted and stored somewhere frost-free over winter. Packed in breathable paper bags for freshness, the tubers are simple to plant and require very little ongoing care. With their vigorous growth, luxurious textures and long flowering season, Begonia Fimbriata tubers bring show-stopping colour to any garden space.

Best Growing Conditions Begonias are sensitive to the cold, so start growing them indoors or harden them off before planting outdoors. When ready to plant outdoors through Spring depending the temperature we recommend outside in May onwards. Plant these tubers with their hollow side up, 2.5 cm deep, 15-20cm apart in fertile well draining soil in a sheltered area that gets full sun to partial shade. After planting they can be watered as often as is needed. Soak well when watering to reach the whole root system.
