Light Required Indoors Crassula ovata prefers a brightly lit position, preferably a south-facing or west-facing aspect, but it will grow in darker conditions. It can be moved outside to a warm, sunny patio in summer - but make sure you bring it back indoors before the weather turns cold in early autumn.

Watering Water moderately when plants are in growth (April to September), but more sparingly when dormant (autumn and winter) - once or twice a month may be sufficient. Allow the soil to dry out slightly before watering again. Being a succulent, Crassula ovata can go a long time without water - but it grows best with water when growing.

Best Growing Conditions Your plant will be happy in a well-lit location. With most houseplants, it is best to avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch their leaves. We believe that a little way back from a window in a bright room is optimum. The foliage of your plant may become a little dusty, so just wipe them down with a damp cloth occasionally (try not to come into direct contact with the plant).
