• Cyclamen are delightful tuberous perennials with pretty heart shaped dark green leaves and fragrant upturned flower heads in a variety of pink, white, red and purple tones. These attractive plants produce an abundance of long lasting midsize flowers that provide colour in UK gardens when little else is flowering, particularly in late Winter or early Spring.

• These Winter hardy Alpine Violet plants prefer to grow in full sun to partial shade in well draining soil. The soil should remain moist but not overwatered as this can lead to the plants rotting. The soil should be watered when dry to the touch.

• Depending on availability you may receive multiples of the same coloured flowers. Plants also may not be in full flower at time of dispatch.

Watering Water thoroughly after planting and keep the soil evenly moist while the plant establishes. Once established, water during prolonged dry periods rather than little and often, allowing the soil to drain between waterings. Container-grown plants should be checked more frequently in warm or windy weather.

Best Growing Conditions Grow in sun or partial shade in fertile, well-drained loam. Choose a position with good airflow and enough space for the plant to reach its mature size. Mulch after planting and keep the root zone free from prolonged waterlogging, particularly through winter.
