• Hosta ‘Praying Hands’ is one of those plants that instantly stands out in the garden. Unlike typical hostas, its narrow green leaves grow upright and slightly folded, giving it a really unusual, sculptural look that adds interest even in the shadiest corners. It works beautifully in borders, woodland-style planting, or pots where you want something a little different from the usual leafy filler plants.

• As it grows, it forms a neat clump with plenty of texture and structure, making shaded areas feel more full and considered rather than flat or empty. Watering Water thoroughly after planting and keep the soil evenly moist while the plant establishes. Once established, water during prolonged dry periods rather than little and often, allowing the soil to drain between waterings. Container-grown plants should be checked more frequently in warm or windy weather.

Best Growing Conditions Grow in partial shade to gentle sun in fertile, well-drained loam. Choose a position with good airflow and enough space for the plant to reach its mature size. Mulch after planting and keep the root zone free from prolonged waterlogging, particularly through winter.
