  • Primrose Star Flame Violet, often called Primula, is a hardy, low-maintenance perennial bedding plant that may live outside. This beautiful cultivar has rich violet flowers with a star-like design that stand out. It adds vivid colour and personality to the garden in the winter and early spring. These plants are little and dependable. They grow to be about 15 to 20 cm tall and stay interesting all year, even in the coldest months in the UK.

  • Primrose Star Flame Violet comes as vigorous, ready-to-plant bedding plants that are great for bringing rapid colour to borders, edging, patio planters, and window boxes. When not many other plants are blooming, their early blossoms are a great source of nectar for bees and other pollinators. Once they are established, they are reliable perennials that will come back year after year with little work.

  • Primroses do best in moist, well-drained soil that gets full sun to light shade. They look great in cottage gardens, spring bedding displays, and rockery planting plans. Use a good multipurpose compost with extra grit or perlite for pots to make sure they drain well.
