  • You will receive three healthy young Petunia "Night Sky" plants in 9cm pots. Each one will have beautiful dark blue-purple trumpet-shaped flowers with unusual white spots and splashes. The flowers have a unique "night sky" look because of this celestial pattern. They are a great addition to any summer display.

  • Petunia "Night Sky" has a graceful semi-trailing habit that makes it look great when it spills over the edges of mixed pots, patio planters, window boxes, and hanging baskets. The soft, velvety leaves make a nice backdrop for the big, colourful flowers above.

  • This type of flower blooms all summer long, giving you colour that lasts a long time. It goes well with other seasonal bedding plants to make bright, eye-catching arrangements.

Watering Water thoroughly after planting and keep the soil evenly moist while the plant establishes. Once established, water during prolonged dry periods rather than little and often, allowing the soil to drain between waterings. Container-grown plants should be checked more frequently in warm or windy weather.

Best Growing Conditions Grow in sun or partial shade in fertile, well-drained loam. Choose a position with good airflow and enough space for the plant to reach its mature size. Protect from hard frost and cold, drying winds, especially while young or when grown in containers.

    Top tip

Remove faded flowers regularly to keep the plant tidy and encourage the longest possible flowering display. In colder parts of the UK, give it a sheltered position and provide winter protection during prolonged frost.
