- Coleus Canina is an easy-to-grow perennial that is bred with a very strong scent to keep cats out of your garden. These plants have neat grey-green leaves and produce lavender-like flowers, with small pale blue petals.
- As well as being a deterrent to cats, they also make this an attractive addition to borders and containers.

Watering Water thoroughly after planting and keep the soil evenly moist while the plant establishes. Once established, water during prolonged dry periods rather than little and often, allowing the soil to drain between waterings. Container-grown plants should be checked more frequently in warm or windy weather.
Best Growing Conditions Grow in sun or partial shade in fertile, well-drained loam. Choose a position with good airflow and enough space for the plant to reach its mature size. Protect from hard frost and cold, drying winds, especially while young or when grown in containers.
