  • Acer palmatum ‘Orange Dream’ is a Japanese maple well-suited to cooler regions, and it's prized for the stunning colour of its leaves year-round. The foliage changes, offering a constantly shifting display that draws the eye from spring through autumn. When fall arrives, the leaves explode into a vibrant array of warm tones, guaranteeing this acer will be a focal point in any garden.

  • New growth emerges in a bright orange, which slowly fades to a cheerful yellow as the seasons progress.'Orange Dream' makes a fine specimen shrub, a real gem. It takes its time, slowly maturing to around three meters in height over twenty years. This deliberate growth makes it perfect for gardens where a manageable size and a lasting structure are key.

  • When you purchase it, the plant will already have a robust root system and be approximately 20–30 cm tall, which means it settles in quickly after you plant it. Like all deciduous acers, it goes dormant in winter and early spring, so it will arrive without leaves. That's just how it is.
