  • Aeschynanthus ‘Rasta’, also known as the Curly Lipstick Plant, is one of those plants that instantly adds character to a room. Its twisted, curly vines give it a really unique look that works perfectly on shelves or in hanging pots where the trailing growth can properly spill over the sides. It’s a great choice if you want something a bit more unusual that still feels relaxed and easy to style around the home.

  • As it grows, the curly vines become fuller and longer, creating that soft jungle-style look that makes a space feel more alive. With the right conditions, it can also produce bright red lipstick-shaped flowers, which stand out beautifully against the deep green foliage and make the plant even more rewarding to grow.

  • It’s surprisingly easy to care for too. Just keep it somewhere bright but out of strong direct sunlight, and let the soil dry slightly between waterings. Once it settles in, it’s a fairly low-maintenance plant that happily gets on with things and continues to grow with very little fuss.
